Our Products
With a focus on quality and an unrivalled experience in sourcing the very best, we are proud of how incredibly realistic our artificial flowers and foliage are. It is almost impossible to tell them apart from the real thing! We ensure the colour tones of each non-fray petal are perfectly matched and that great care and expertise is applied when producing lifelike leaves and floral form on each flexible stem.
Listening to what our customers want and value, we have also introduced specialist collections into our range. Our Sustainably Produced ECO Faux Flower and Foliage Collection features the use of 100% recycled fabric and over 50% recycled plastic. While our Outdoor Collection is UV protected and rain-resistant so our customers can enjoy the beauty of faux in their gardens, as well as throughout their house.
Aside from artificial flowers and foliage, we boast an exquisite Christmas Collection and other seasonal decor. From decadent tree decorations in a variety of textures including glass, paper, felt and metal, to cheerful table top ornaments, gorgeous artificial trees, wreaths, garlands and lights, our Christmas Collections feature new themes, colours and designs every year inspired by home and fashion trends. This also applies for Easter and Halloween!
Our Floralsilk History
The story begins...
Floralsilk was established in 1979 by John and Gail O’Flaherty. It was a small, trade-only business to begin with and stock was kept in the couple's garage.
Growing fast
Floralsilk quickly outgrew the O'Flaherty's garage, so they sought a small warehouse premises in Reading, and began attending trade shows.
A family business grows
Liam O'Flaherty, John’s son, joined the business and quickly learned the ropes. The customers were a big fan of him too!
Digital beginnings
Steph, Liam's wife, joined the business and helped launch Floralsilk's first trade website.
A festive chapter
The first Floralsilk Christmas Collection was launched. A natural extension to the brand's heritage of ‘making life beautiful’.
A new home in Bourne
Floralsilk relocated to Bourne, Lincolnshire, the home of the UK flower industry, and built a brand-new 6,500 sq. ft trade showroom.
Opening to retail
In response to the ever-growing customer demand, Floralsilk launched its retail website, enabling consumers to buy directly from them.

Today, Floralsilk has both a thriving retail and trade business, a fabulous team with drive and ambition, and a sense of excitement as to what the next phase will bring…
