How to style your seasonal arrangements.
1. Choose your colours and experiment with seasonal florals.
Decide if you want flowers with indulgent colours like deep reds, blues and greens, ones with subtle pastel tones, often found in Winter gardens, or an assortment that is just pure white - like snow!
2. Add your Winter foliage.
Once you have your main colour, intersperse some seasonal faux Winter foliage. Winter landscapes are dominated by evergreen foliage and wintery twigs. Bring the outside in with stems of
artificial Ivy,
Eucalyptus,
Holly,
Berries,
Rosehips, and
Pine Cones. For an extra dose of festive fun, add a touch of glitter, gold, silver, or even a frosted finish. Keep these stems longer than your flowers, so they are visible at the top and edges of your arrangement, and give a more impactful finish.
3. Select your vase.
Different
vases can have a dramatic effect. Experiment with darker vases that give pale bouquets a more Wintery feel, or ice white vases perfect for a darker floral mix.
